Song of the Week #6

   I have something special for this week's song. It's a song by a relatively unknown artist but is one of my favorite songs (though, I'm biased). Please welcome Kelly Machado's Weak In The Knees!

   As mentioned in last week's post, Kelly Machado was my old voice teacher who inspired me to pursue a career in music. If it weren't for her I probably wouldn't be here writing this right now.

   Weak In The Knees is a song from her EP titled Where is Ever After?. Her music is similar to mine in style, though that's probably because she was such a big influence to me when I first started. The vocals are so crystal clear and the harmonies are just mesmerizingly beautiful. The words paint a picture of a love story. With the chorus saying,

Will you be my perfect match?

A love that will forever last

On the front porch sippin' tea

'Cause you've got the magic that I need

To make me weak in the knees
